Elizabeth

The Elizabeth cast aluminum patio dining chair has a refined, almost formal character that sets it apart from typical patio furniture.

The back is the most distinctive element. Rather than a simple grid or scrollwork, it features a series of vertical bars that arch and cross over one another in a graceful X pattern, almost like ribbons or interlaced bands. The back itself is gently shaped. It's wider at the top and slightly pinched in the middle, which gives it an elegant waisted silhouette reminiscent of a classic Chippendale or Adam-style dining chair. It's a sophisticated reference for an outdoor piece.

The legs are notably more architectural than most cast aluminum chairs. They're square in section rather than round, tapered cleanly toward the bottom, and finished with small square pad feet. The corner blocks where the legs meet the seat frame are a particularly nice touch.

The seat is a straightforward basket-weave lattice, which provides a practical, airy counterpoint to the more elaborate back. The arms sweep outward with a scroll at the front.

This is a chair with genuine design pedigree. It borrows from a rich tradition of fine furniture. These fully-welded and stackable outdoor dining chairs are available in dining, bar, and chat height.
