The back is where the Lillian cast aluminum patio furniture chair really makes its statement. It's a graceful arrangement of scrolling acanthus leaves and fleur-de-lis inspired curves, framed within a gently arched surround.

The design has an almost botanical quality, as though the metalwork grew into its shape rather than being cast into it. The arms sweep outward, curling softly at the ends in a classic scroll detail that's both comfortable to grip and pleasing to look at. The seat echoes the back with its own cast medallion pattern.
