The Manchester cast aluminum patio dining chair layers two distinct design ideas on top of each other.

The lower portion of the back is a generous diagonal lattice, a bold, wide basket-weave grid that fills the majority of the back panel with an open, airy pattern. It's a familiar motif in cast outdoor furniture, but the scale here is notably larger than usual.

What makes this chair stand apart is the decorative frieze running along the very top of the back, a repeating row of small scroll or fleur-de-lis-like motifs that sit between the top rail and the lattice below.

The arms curve outward and downward in a smooth, fluid sweep, rounded and comfortable-looking, and the legs have that characteristic saber-like flare, particularly the rear legs, which give the chair a dynamic, slightly forward-leaning energy even when it's standing still. A traditional chair with just enough dressiness to feel special.
